Spa Dan Etiket Perawatan

Sms saja: “Gue lagi spa – jangan bawel!” Or something like that.

  • JANGAN buru-buru beraktivitas setelah melakukan perawatan spa.
Sebaiknya banyak minum air putih.

Masuk akal ‘kan?

Segera hubungi kami untuk bikin appointment kamu berikutnya!

Be A Star, Today

Did you know how Victoria “Posh” Beckham got her looks? Read on.

Hollywood celebrities are looking prettier than ever – their skin is brighter, soft to the touch, and healthier. We often wonder how they do it – often concluding that with the money they have, they’d have no problem getting the best beauty care in the world. For example, top-notch celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Lauren Conrad, and Jennifer Aniston all get regular treatments at their favorite spa centers in far-fetched locations like Belize, Mexico, even Bali. Although, when work is calling, they’d have to settle for something local in Los Angeles – the mob site for Hollywood celebrities.

Here are some of their favorite treatments, in their own words:

  • Lauren Conrad (Laguna Beach, The Hills) – “I like to take time out with a 45-minute warm oil body massage, followed by a scalp treatment and body-and-head rubdown. It’s incredibly relaxing.”
  • Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada, The Princess Diaries) – “My absolute favorite is mani-pedi treatment, because it’s important to keep your nails clean and well-treated. I also like a spice massage, because it’s good for my skin.”
  • Victoria Beckham (Spice Girls, Wife of Football Legend David Beckham) – “I love, love, love a facial. It keeps my skin acne-free, bright, and soft.”

So, y’know, while beauty is relative, sometimes what you see isn’t always what you get. Screen queens like Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, and Penelope Cruz may be lauded upon for their amazingly good looks – but behind every woman’s beauty there’s a spa center waiting to give them their daily, weekly, and monthly rub-a-scrub-scrub. Bet on it.

Did you know about the history of Valentine’s Day? Read on.

Sometime in the 14th century, Valentine’s Day – February 14 – was the day established by the Romans when two Christian priests, Valentine of Rome and Valentine of Terni, were martyred as a symbolic profession of their faith and dedication to the church. Back then, all Christian martyrs were given the name Valentine, although nobody really knew the reason why.

Although in its connection to Valentine’s Day, one of three figures have constantly occurred in martyrology: a priest in Rome (Valentine of Rome), a bishop of Terni (Valentine of Terni), and a martyr in the Roman province of Africa.

Nevertheless, the origin of Valentine’s Day can be traced to older customs and traditions around Europe, most of them linked to the practices of paganism, such as the marriage of the mighty God and Goddess, Zeus and Hera, which follows the proceedings according to the Athenian calendar.

The first mention of Valentine’s Day in the form of a love note was pioneered by a French aristocrat, Charles, Duke of Orleans, who addressed it to his wife. Even so, the first mention of Valentine’s Day in literature was undoubtedly penned by the greatest writer ever known to man, Shakespeare. In Hamlet (1600-1601), Ophelia recited in a sonnet for Hamlet anticipating the arrival of St. Valentine’s Day.

However, the custom of gift-giving which propelled the enterprise of Valentine’s greeting cards around the world had only begun well into the 18th century. The first greeting card created to honor the occasion was made by Esther Howland, a native of Worcester, Massachusetts. At the age of 19, Howland created intricate Valentine cards for his father’s business associates, which had subsequently launched her career in greeting cards.

As it stands at present, St. Valentine’s Day has gone a long, long way. Hallmark thrives on occasions like this by mass-producing love notes to go with brands of sweets. And cupid “the love god” is made famous by the commemoration, as well.

Yet the most intriguing invention to come in the latter days of honoring St. Valentine is the popularization of Love Coupons. Yep, you heard right. Love Coupons. It’s another way of letting someone you love know how much you care for them (and are willing to make their day). It’s a promissory note extended by lovers to engage in a romantic activity at a certain time in the future. It works like any other coupons, redeemable in a stretch of particular time, and often coincides with occasions such as Valentine’s Day.

Some coupons offer an unforgettable night of dancing, others a weekend getaway, a candlelight dinner, a stroll on the beach, or a health + beauty “spa day” for the ladies.

Get Your Mud Treatment Today -- It Works Wonders!

article courtesy of: collagelife

By Jerzy George

What does mud have to do with skin care? Believe it or not, mud may have some very interesting anti-aging, cleansing, rejuvenating, and exfoliating properties.

Generally, skin care trends fizzle and fade after a number of years, but this one trend may actually hold some very (muddy) water.

Ancient tales tell of Cleopatra's own skin care regimen. Legend has it that Cleopatra used to bathe in the mud that could be found within the Dead Sea. Now, if Cleopatra were not beautiful, none of this would matter. However, the fact of the matter is that men came from all around the globe to gaze upon her beauty.

What does any of this have to do with skin care and mud? Well, Cleopatra knew that mud contained certain invigorating properties that would enhance her skin. Some of the properties that she sought are still relevant today. Mud can help with:

 Blood circulation
 Exfoliation
Relief from certain skin problems including acne, wrinkles, and eczema
 Provides natural moisturizer
Removes dead skin cells revealing healthy, younger, cells

Therefore, all of this hype about mud may actually be true. Skin care routines require careful investigation and consideration, which is why this ancient anti-aging, healthy and beauty, rejuvenating recipe for skin care success is so popular today.

Not only is mud good for your skin, it's actually the preferred choice of many great historical beauties. Slathering your skin in mud will produce instant effects that no other skin care product in the world can produce. Those that thought mud was just a trend, are now more than shocked to discover that this trend has been happening for decades.

Mud is great for your skin for the reasons listed above, and it also happens to help with aging as well. Exfoliating with mud every day is the best recipe that the skin care world knows for beauty success. All of the anti-aging products in the world can't compete with the one product that comes from nature itself: mud.

If you happen to be one of the many that is sceptical when it comes to mud, consider the details listed above. Cleopatra was many things to many people, but she remained a great, youthful, beauty to all that loved and loathed her. In fact, you can almost say that Cleopatra had mud to blame for her spirited life.
